Book of Kells Available in a Digital Collection

Trinity College Library in Dublin, Ireland, announces that the Book of Kells, in its entirety, is now viewable in the Library’s new Digital Collections online repository. They report, “The Book of Kells transparencies, originally captured by Faksimile Verlag, Lucerne, Switzerland in 1990, have recently been rescanned using state of the art imaging technology. The Rev. Heather O’Brien from the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth was recognized as the St. Aelred’s Day sermon contest winner by IntegrityUSA. She preached her sermon “The Heartbeat of God” at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, Fort Worth on January 12, 2013. Congregations partnering with ECBF

A group of Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth congregations will be partnering with the Episcopal Church Building Fund (ECBF) in the coming year, participating in the Recasting of Building Assets process. The project focuses on congregations who wish to deepen their connection to their community and to build mission and value, as well as develop financial self-sustainability through the creative use of building assets.
