Dr. Wil Gafney has been named The Right Rev. Sam B. Hulsey Professor of Hebrew Bible effective June 1, 2021. Dr. Gafney joined the Brite faculty in Fall 2014 as Associate Professor of Hebrew Bible. Dr. Gafney holds a M.Div. from Howard University School of Divinity in Washington, D.C. and a Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible from Duke University.
