Bishop Scott Mayer made his first official visit to St. Stephen’s, Hurst, on Sunday, March 5. He preached and celebrated. After Eucharist, the worship space was quickly transformed into a parish hall, with tables set up for lunch. After lunch, Bishop Mayer met with the vestry. Vernon and Deanna Gotcher honored at dinner

The Rev. Dr. Vernon and Deanna Gotcher were honored by the people of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Hurst, on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at a dinner at Diamond Oaks Country Club in Haltom City. St. Stephen’s, Hurst, moves into new building

St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Hurst, held its first worship service in their new building at 463 West Harwood Road in Hurst on Sunday, August 24, 2014. More than 80 people attended the worship service. The move to the new space marked the return to a 10 am worship time for St. Stephen’s, and is one of the many benefits of being in a space they control 24/7.
