Bishop Scott Mayer ordained Annette Mayer a deacon on Thursday, October 22, at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Keller. The preacher was the Rev. Christian Formation discussion begun at 2013 Convention continues- UPDATED

At the 2013 Diocesan Convention in Wichita Falls, one of several table talks at lunch on Saturday was about Christian Formation. That discussion will continue on Saturday, May 24, from 9 am to noon at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in Keller. UPDATE: this event has been postponed and will be rescheduled. On Saturday, Sept. 29 from 10 am to 4 pm, St. Martin-in-the-Fields will host a neighborhood festival open to the public. The church is extending an invitation to all surrounding neighbors as a chance to introduce itself. Artists’ interpretations of Holy Week will be showcased at a free Gala Arts Event at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church (Keller/Southlake) on Saturday, March 31st from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Previously featured in the Star-Telegram, this is St. Martin’s 3rd Annual Gala Event where artists strive to re-vision and revitalize our understanding of Christ’s last days through their work.
