St. Luke’s, Stephenville, receives grant for campus ministry

St. Luke’s, Stephenville, is the recipient of a $14,000 Young Adult and Campus Ministry Grant from The Episcopal Church.  The Rev. Bradley Dyche to be installed as rector in Stephenville

In a Celebration of New Ministry, Bishop Scott Mayer will formally install the Rev. Bradley Calloway Dyche as rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Stephenville, at 7 pm Tuesday, January 29. A reception will follow. All are welcome. Dyche was elected in early 2018 and started officially on Easter Day. Bishop High installs verger, blesses refurbished organ in Stephenville

Bishop Rayford B. High, Jr. visited St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Stephenville, on Sunday, February 22, 2015. He commissioned Milam Hefner as verger and blessed the refurbished Redman organ. Duke DuTeil (left), the recently retired head verger of Washington National Cathedral, also assisted in the service. DuTeil is in charge of training for the Vergers’ Guild of the Episcopal Church. Imposition of ashes on area campuses

The Rev. Curt Norman, rector of St. Luke’s, Stephenville, offered imposition of ashes on the Tarleton State University Campus at noon on Ash Wednesday. The Rev. Gayland Pool, the Rev. Judy Upham, and the Rev. Tracie Middleton offered ashes on the campus of the University of Texas at Arlington.

St Luke’s in Stephenville honors the McClains

At its annual meeting on January 22, 2012, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Stephenville, named the Rev. Dr. Marion ‘Sam’ McClain “Rector Emeritus”. Fr. Sam and wife, Jane, will be honored for their of ministry at St. Luke’s during Bishop Ohl’s visitation April 29.
