The Rt. Rev. J. Scott Mayer has announced that he, with the support of the Standing Committee, has asked the Rt. Rev. Rayford B. High, Jr. and the Rt. Rev. Sam B. The Rt. Rev. Rayford B. High, Jr., third provisional bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth, retires (again) on June 30, 2015. He was elected in November 2012 at the diocesan convention in Stephenville. As a going-away present, the diocesan staff presented him with a yellow labrador retriever puppy. Bishop High visits St. Luke’s, Fort Worth

The Rt. Rev. Rayford B.High, Jr., made  his last official visitation before his June 30 retirement to St. Luke’s in the Meadow, Fort Worth. He confirmed  Olivia Wilson, Gabriel Phillips, Caleb Fisher, and T. J. Jennings,and received John Dickinson and Nicholas Busken. There was a reception in the parish hall afterward. Tom Leatherbury, attorney for the Episcopal Parties and a lifelong Episcopalian, has responded to David Weaver, attorney for the breakaway group, regarding former Bishop Jack Iker’s March 6, 2015, letter to All Saints’ Episcopal Church, Fort Worth, demanding that All Saints’ submit to a so-called Canon 32 procedure. Karen Calafat installed at St. Luke’s, Fort Worth

The Rev. Katen Calafat was installed as the part time rector of St. Luke’s in the Meadow, Fort Worth, by the Rt. Rev. Rayford B. Bishop High visits St. Martin’s, Keller

The Rt. Rev. Rayford B. High, Jr., visited St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church, Keller, on Sunday, November 9, 2014. Two were baptised, Leslie Fowles and Nicholas Hardman. The bishop received three, Kathy Wilkinson, Gary Wilkinson and John Dumbleton, and confirmed four, Leslie Fowles, Heather Wilson, April Elliott, and Gregory Anderson.
