Bishop Rayford B.High, Jr. visited St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Keller, on Sunday, April 2, 2017, for confirmations, receptions, and reaffirmations of faith. Bishop High stepped in for Bishop Scott Mayer, who was away for a family funeral. Assisting Bishop Rayford B.High, Jr., visited the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd on Sunday, September 11, to perform baptisms, confirmations and receptions. It was a day of many celebrations, as the choir wore its new vestments for the first time and the baptismal font was dedicated. The Rev. On Sunday, June 7, 2015, the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Granbury, honored the Rev. Frank B. Reeves and Susan Reeves for their ministry with the congregation. Bishop Rayford B. High, Jr. visited the Episcopal Church of Wise County in Decatur where he confirmed Mark Whitley, who with his wife, Ellen, has been instrumental in organizing the new worshiping community. The bishop blessed the altar Whitley built, along with the altar goods. Bishop Rayford B. High,Jr., visited St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, worshiping in the Good Shepherd Chapel at University Christian Church.   He confirmed James Barnett, son of The Rev. Edwin and Mrs. Leigh Ann Barnett. He was sponsored by Mason Chevaillier of St. Andrew’s, and Matt Hubbard of St. Christopher Episcopal Church, Fort Worth.

The Rt. Rev. J. Scott Mayer, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Northwest Texas,  was elected provisional bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth at a special meeting of Convention on May 16 at Trinity Episcopal Church, Fort Worth. On Sunday, May 3, Bishop Rayford B. High, Jr., visited the Episcopal Church of Hamilton County. He confirmed Brandi Marie Rogers, Elizabeth Page Rogers, Nathan Blake Rogers, Helen Francis Rogers, David William Powers, Jordyn Deahl Johnson, Dorothy Jean Buckner, and Billy Gene Buckner. He received Anthony L. Rogers into The Episcopal Church. Each of them was presented with a prayer book signed by the bishop.
