Members of the diocese’s executive council, standing committee, corporation trustees, and trustees for the endowment of the episcopate spent Friday evening and most of Saturday, January 25 and 26, 2013, working on a strategic planning followup to work begun last August with Donald Romanik, president of the Episcopal Church Foundation. The meeting was at St. Luke’s in the Meadow, Fort Worth.
The theme for the meeting was “At the Crossroads.” Romanik will prepare a report on the meeting which will be posted. At the end of Saturday’s session, the executive council met briefly for a short business session.
Romanik is president of the Episcopal Church Foundation, which is dedicated to empowering congregations and publishes the monthly online newsletter ECF Vital Practices as a resource for church leaders.
