The Rt. Rev. Jeff Fisher, Bishop Suffragan of the Diocese of Texas, will ordain Stephanie Moncrieff to the priesthood at 7 pm on Friday, January 13 at Trinity Episcopal Church, Fort Worth.
Moncrieff grew up in the Diocese of Texas at St. George’s and St. Patrick’s, Houston, and St. Peter’s, Brenham. She graduated from the University of Houston with honors and served as a social studies teacher in Houston Independent School District. After college, she served as a Sunday School teacher and Young Adult leader at St. Mark’s, Houston, her sponsoring congregation. In 2013, Moncrieff and her husband Scott moved to Fort Worth/Dallas to attend seminary and medical school. She graduated in May with a master of divinity in Anglican Studies from Brite Divinity School. She currently serves at Trinity, Fort Worth, focusing on pastoral care and young adults. She enjoys cooking, reading, and walking her dog.
Clergy are invited to vest in cassock, surplice and red stole. All are invited to a reception in the parish hall following the ordination.
