Sandy Michels’ Lynching Memorial Presentation

Sandi Michels, priest in charge at St. Elisabeth/Christ the King, Fort Worth, gave a presentation to Diocesan Convention on the effort by the Tarrant County Coalition for Peace and Justice to create a memorial to the lynching of Fred Rouse on Samuels Avenue in Fort  Worth in 1921.

Then on December 12 at 5:15 pm, the Soil Collection will take place at the site of the lynching, corner of 12th Street and Samuels. The lynching happened on December 12, 1921.
