Shortly after the February 6, 2013, observance of the 4th anniversary of the reorganization of the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth, Bishop Rayford High invited Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori to join the diocese in marking the 5th anniversary on Saturday and Sunday, February 8 and 9, 2014 – and she has accepted.
The 2014 event will mark the 5th anniversary of the Special Meeting of the Diocesan Convention called to order by Presiding Bishop Jefferts Schori on February 7, 2009, at Trinity Episcopal Church, Fort Worth. That gathering was the beginning of a renewed commitment to mission and ministry and renewal and reconciliation on the part of the people of the diocese.
