St. Luke’s Stephenville pantry serves 500/month

The Food Pantry of St Luke’s Episcopal Church in Stephenville has been operating out of “the Corner House” adjacent to the church for 10 years.     During the pandemic, distribution was switched to drive-through to protect clients and volunteers. Currently the Food Pantry distributes food and cleaning supplies to 500 people a month.     The pantry’s directors are Judy Blackburn and Fran Jurney. 4Saints looking for part-time pantry director

4Saints Episcopal Food Pantry’s operation is growing. They  need a passionate, organized servant to join the team. 4Saints is hiring a part-time pantry director to oversee day-to-day operations and lead our volunteer coordinator, food coordinator, and other volunteer leaders. Steve Grenzow resigns

Steve Grenzow, communication and administrative assistant for the former Episcopal Church in North Texas, now the North Region, Episcopal Diocese of Texas, has resigned August 1. He began work in October 2019. Godly Play Core Training offered at Trinity Fort Worth

The Episcopal Church of North Texas Votes Unanimously to Reunite with The Episcopal Diocese of Texas

JUNE 18, 2022: The Episcopal Church in North Texas, (ECNTX) formerly the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth, today voted overwhelmingly to reunite with the Episcopal Diocese of Texas (EDOT). The vote was the sole business of a Special Meeting of Diocesan Convention at Trinity Episcopal Church, Fort Worth. The vote for reuniting was 69 to 0. The vestry of St. Christopher Fort Worth has announced that they have called the Rev. Paula K. Jefferson  to be their Priest-in-Charge, She will begin August 1, 2022. St. Christopher is worshiping at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 5709 Wedgwood, Fort Worth, TX 76133, since they lost their building in 2021. The Rev. Lynn Lundelius died May 7, 2022

The Rev. Heulette Carolyn (“Lynn”) Sparks Lundelius died on May 7, 2022, at the age of 91 in Williamsburg, Virginia.  The funeral will be 11 am on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3401 Bellaire Drive So., Fort Worth, TX, 76109.  The Rev. General Convention to proceed with some changes

Alan Bentrup installed as rector at St. Martin’s, Keller

The Rev. Alan Bentrup was installed as rector of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Keller, on Thursday, May 5, 2022, by Bishop Scott Mayer. Bentrup was elected rector in June 2021. His first Sunday was August 1, 2021. As it has done at other congregations, the Covid19 pandemic delayed the Celebration of a New Ministry service at St. Martin’s for some months.
