All invited to Advent Quiet Day at St. Martin’s, Keller on December 12

Men, women, and teens are invited to spend several hours of reflection on December 12 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in the Keller/Southlake area. Advent Quiet Day offers time during this very busy season that is set apart to stop and rest and be with the Lord. Bishop Scott Mayer installed the Rev. Suzi Robertson as priest in charge of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Granbury, on October 6, 2015. Third module of Safeguarding course offered at Convention

Safeguarding God’s People – Preventing Sexual Harassment is the third module in the Safeguarding series. This course will be offered as a pre-convention educational opportunity for clergy and church leaders. Annette Mayer to be ordained deacon at St. Martin-in-the-Fields

God willing and the people consenting, Annette Mayer will be ordained as a deacon at 7 pm Thursday, October 22 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in Keller. New Daughters of the King chapter at St. Martin-in-the-Fields

In worship service on September 27, 2015, St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church formally instituted the Deborah Chapter of the Order of the Daughters of the King®, received members of the chapter and  installed officers and a chaplain. Bishop Mayer issues statement in wake of Oregon school shooting

Once again our nation is mourning victims of a mass shooting. Once again, the shooting was at a school, this time a community college in Oregon. According to news reports, this is the 45th time this year and the 142nd time since the December 14, 2012 Sandy Hook massacre that killed twenty 5 and 6-year-olds, that a gunman has opened fire in a school.
