Men, women, and teens are invited to a Lenten Quiet Day from 9:30 am to 2 pm on Saturday, March 19, 2016. This Lenten Quiet Day offers time that is set apart to stop and rest and be with the Lord. The meditations will use beautiful Lenten icons and the deep symbolism written in the art will be shared.
The day starts at 9:30 am with Morning Prayer in the church sanctuary. A soup and bread lunch will be served at noon. The quiet day closes with Holy Communion in the church sanctuary. Come and share this day of intentional silence, meditation, and worship. All are welcome.
Come with me by yourself to a quiet place and get some rest. ~Mark 6:31

Sponsored by Daughters of the King
This Lenten Quiet day is sponsored by the Order of the Daughters of the King; rules of prayer and service are in daughters’ hearts and lives. The Deborah chapter at St. Martin’s is the newest chapter in the Fort Worth area, chartered in September 2015. The order’s vision statement is “to know Jesus Christ, to make Him known to others, and to become reflections of God’s love throughout the world.”
