Invitation to racial justice and reparations work

Invitation to racial justice and reparations work

At the 2019 Diocesan Convention, Bishop Eugene Sutton of Maryland spoke powerfully about racial justice and reparations. The convention responded with a resolution that called for the establishment of a Commission on Racial Justice and Reparations. The pandemic intervened, but the work did not stop. This summer, a group of clergy meeting via ZOOM to read and study about anti-racism work decided to form a Work Group to continue the work of racial justice and reparation in meaningful ways. This video tells why they are doing this work and invites other clergy and lay people to join them.
