“Growing in Faith Together – Creating & Sustaining Healthy Congregations” workshop June 20 & 21

The April Growing in Faith Together workshop with Peter Steinke and Ana Hernandez drew rave reviews from those who attended. They are looking forward to attending the June 20-21 workshop, which also will be at Trinity Lutheran Church3621 Tulsa Way, Fort Worth, TX 76107. Please come to the workshop and explore:

  • Signs of thriving congregations (drawing from the Acts of the Apostles)
  • Habits of health-promoting leaders
  • Marks of healthy congregations
  • Adaptive challenges

Please note that you do not need to have attended the April workshop to attend the June workshop.

Schedule

On Friday, June 20, the clergy of the diocese will have a Common Call meeting with Bishop Rayford B. High, Jr., from 3 to 5 p.m.

At 5:30 p.m. the first workshop will start with dinner. All Friday evening and Saturday sessions are intended for clergy and laity together. Congregations are urged to send one or more teams. The workshop topics will start at 6 and end at 9.

On Saturday, June 21, people will begin gathering at 8:30 a.m. and the workshop will begin at 8:45. Lunch will be served. The workshop will end at 3 pm.

Presenters- Peter Steinke and Ana Hernandez

Peter Steinke is a congregational consultant working with the Alban Institute, a former Lutheran pastor, a therapist for clergy, author and educator. Ana Hernandez, an Episcopalian, is a musician, composer, and congregational consultant.
