The Episcopal Youth Event is a gathering of high school youth every three years. The youth gather for leadership training, energetic worship, and lots of fun. In 2011, the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth sent eight youth to EYE to meet, worship, and play alongside their Episcopalian friends from around the world.
Each diocese is allowed to send up to 24 youth and an appropriate number of adult chaperones. The cost per person is going to be about $800 to travel to Villanova University right outside of Philadelphia, PA. Each church that sends youth or adults will be asked to raise funds for the participants in order to show their support for sending people to EYE 2014.
