Nominations open for 2017 Diocesan Convention

Nominations are now open for eight positions that will be filled at the 2017 Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth in Cleburne, Texas, on November 10 and 11. The Nominations Committee earnestly seeks participation from parishioners across the spectrum of our diocese. Presiding Bishop Michael Curry to visit diocese April 6-8, 2017

The Most Rev. Michael Curry, presiding bishop of The Episcopal Church, will visit the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth Thursday, April 6, through Saturday, April 8. Bishop Curry calls himself the chief evangelist of The Episcopal Church, and he will bring that emphasis with him. “I Love to Tell the Story” is the theme of the visit. Help refugee families learn English

If you would like to help refugees in the Fort Worth area practice their English skills, come to an introductory training this Thursday evening, March 22 at the diocesan offices from 6 to 8 pm. A member of the Refugee Services of Texas organization will give some information on volunteering to help their clients in this way.
