Theologian, author Michael Hardin to speak September 28, 29

Michael Hardin, theologian, author of The Jesus Driven Life and co-founder of Preaching Peace, will speak in three lectures September 28 and 29 in the sanctuary of St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in Keller. Hardin will be addressing questions such as:

  • Who is Jesus Christ for us today?
  • How did Jesus view scripture? Did he believe every word was divinely inspired?
  • Did the early church have the same doctrines we do today?
  • Is God bipolar, loving one moment and full of wrath the next?
  • Is God’s judgment like the judgment we dish out in our Western legal system?
  • Do we believe in the real Jesus or have we made God in our own image?

These lectures are for anyone wanting to think more deeply about God, Scripture, and life.

  • Monday, September 28, 7 to 9 pm:  How Jesus Read His Bible
  • Tuesday, September 29, 10 am to 12 pm: Early Church Theology
  • Tuesday, September 29, 7 to 9 pm: Love vs. Wrath, insights into the true nature of God and man

The lectures are open to the public and all are welcome. Childcare will be provided Monday and Tuesday evenings.
