Common Grace Chapel begins ELCA Worship August 18 at St. Luke’s Stephenville

Common Grace Chapel is a new, joint mission endeavor of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Stephenville, Texas, and the Northern Texas – Northern Louisiana Mission Area of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

Beginning August 18, 2013, Common Grace will worship each Sunday evening at 5pm on the St. Luke’s campus, which is right across the street from Tarleton State University.

“It is my hope and prayer that this ministry will be able to share God’s abundant love, not only with students, faculty, and staff members of Tarleton, but with non-church-goers in a community which has not been home to an ELCA parish,” said the Rev. Curt Norman, rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and mission developer of Common Grace Lutheran Chapel.

“If you would, please pray for Common Grace during your worship on Sunday, August 18. Also, would you please be a prayer partner for Common Grace, praying for this new mission once a week for the next year?”
