The Rt. Rev. Rayford B. High, Jr., visited St. Elisabeth and Christ the King Episcopal Church in River Oaks on Sunday, September 21. The combined congregations of St. Elisabeth and Christ the King have been worshiping together at St. Elisabeth’s since December 1, 2013. Bishop High acknowledged the work it takes to successfully carry out such a move, and he congratulated them on how well the arrangement is working. There was a reception in the parish hall after the Eucharist.
