Ashes to Go an ecumenical event at Tarleton in Stephenville

This year the Ashes to Go ministry has been expanded into an ecumenical event on the campus of Tarleton State University in Stephenville. On Ash Wednesday, March 5, the Rev. Curt Norman, rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 595 N. McIlhaney, Stephenville, will take part in an ecumenical service on the campus. Volunteers are needed for several tasks at the Reimagining Our Church event, Saturday, February 8, at University Christian Church. Fort Worth Congregations working with the Episcopal Church Building Fund

The Episcopal Church Building Fund’s Recasting of Building Assets program is working with six congregations in Fort Worth to work through a year-long assessment of their individual situations. The ECBF’s Recasting of Building Assets process focuses on congregations who wish to deepen their connection to their community and to build mission and value, as well as develop financial self-sustainability through the creative use of assets — people, buildings, relationships, and more.
