A message from Marti Fagley Vice President of the Diocesan Episcopal Church Women

Sandy Shockley, president of the Episcopal Church Women in our diocese, is requiring period of convalescence. During this period, as vice president, I have stepped in to assume the responsibilities of her office to provide the time Sandy needs to fully recover. Sandy would appreciate your prayers for her recovery and for her family. The other members of the ECW Board include Meredith Killingsworth, Lynne Minor, Laura Adcock, Cynthia Hill, Patsy Duncan, Deacon Sharla Marks, The Rev. ClayOla Gitane, and Jackie Meeks.

There are two requests for your support and participation in the ECW at this time. The first is to encourage the women of your parish/mission to take the ECW survey that is on the diocesan website. Sandy was instrumental in developing this and the Diocesan ECW Board wants to hear your opinions and ideas for the women of our diocese. A link to the survey is here (survey completed). The second request is to announce and attend the combined ECW/Daughters of the King Quiet Day that will be held on Saturday, March 24th in the garden at the home of Katie Sherrod. You may register here (registration closed).

The members of the ECW board thank you for your prayers and support. We hope to see all of you in March.
