St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals and the environment. His Feast Day is October 4. For more than two decades, worship at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Fort Worth, Texas has been enhanced by the extraordinary artistry of Organist and Choirmaster Rick Grimes. After 64 years as an organist and 24 years at All Saints’, Grimes retired from All Saints’ on September 9. Diocesan Convention – Last week for early registration
Register before October 1 to receive the “Early Bird” rate for Diocesan Convention. If you register in September, Early Bird rates are $75 for a 2-day registration and $50 for a 1-day registration. On Oct. 1, rates go up to $90 for a two-day registration and $65 for a one-day registration. The registration fee includes one meal per day. Carlye Hughes consecrated 11th bishop of Newark
Carlye Hughes, rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Fort Worth, was consecrated the 11th bishop of Newark and the 1,109th bishop in succession, at a joyous worship service at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Rick Grimes, organist and choirmaster at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Fort Worth, concluded his 24-year tenure on Rally Day at All Saints’ this past Sunday, September 9.
