Episcopal Church in Wichita Falls honored for ministry

The Episcopal Church of Wichita Falls (ECWF) received a “Spirit of the Community” award at the 30th anniversary celebration of the Wichita Falls Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) on Saturday, January 21, 2017. ECWF, in partnership with MCC and the First United Methodist Church, began offering a “Downtown Dinner” monthly well over a year ago under then priest-in-charge, the Rev. Amy Haynie. Local Integrity Chapter sets schedule for 2017

Integrity USA is an Episcopal LGBTQ organization that proclaims and embodies the all-inclusive love of God through worship, education, and advocacy. Bishop email hacked – how it affects you

Bishop High’s email address was compromised on Tuesday morning, January 10, 2017 and one spam message was sent from within his edfw.org account to a large list of his contacts. The subject line of that email was “Documents” and there was an attached file, Scan.pdf. We have audited and re-secured this edfw.org account. Funeral for St. Alban’s Jeph Abara January 28

After a long battle with cancer Jeph Abara, beloved member of St. Alban’s, Theatre Arlington, died December 27, 2016. A life-long runner, Abara in his later years organized races benefiting charities throughout Fort Worth and Arlington. The Rev. Bishop High to celebrate 50th anniversary of ordination

Bishop Rayford B. High, Jr., assisting bishop of Fort Worth, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood on the Feast of the Epiphany, January 6. High served as provisional bishop of the Diocese of Fort Worth from November 2012 to June 2015. Prior to that, he served as bishop suffragan of the Diocese of Texas from 2003-Spring 2012.
