Mission and Outreach Committee allocates funds

The Diocesan Mission and Outreach Committee has announced the allocation of grants for 2016 to help with programs that aid the homeless, care for orphans, provide medical care for lepers, feed the hungry, encourage literacy, and much more. Lisa Neilson ordained priest

Lisa Neilson was ordained to the priesthood on Saturday, October 22, by Fort Worth Assisting Bishop Rayford B. High, Jr., at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in College Station. Presenters were the Rev. Kenneth L. Fields, rector of St. Thomas; the Rev. Garden blessing, English feast and Christmas boutique

All Saints’ Episcopal Church is holding some unique events over the next couple of weeks. Garden Blessing Friday, October 21, at “Twilight in the Garden,” Bishop Sam Hulsey will bless the church garden, located across the street from the church. Visit Convention Exhibitors and Vendors

Plan to visit the exhibits and vendors at Convention. On Friday, November 11, the vendor and exhibitor area will be in Moore Commons, where the social hour will take place. On Saturday, vendors and exhibitors will be right above the gym, with the business meeting on the gym floor below. The Order of the Daughters of the King in the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth will hold its fall assembly at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church and School from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturday, October 29, 2016. All are invited to register and attend.
