Mission and Outreach Committee allocates funds
The Diocesan Mission and Outreach Committee has announced the allocation of grants for 2016 to help with programs that aid the homeless, care for orphans, provide medical care for lepers, feed the hungry, encourage literacy, and much more. All Saints’ Episcopal Church is holding some unique events over the next couple of weeks. The Order of the Daughters of the King in the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth will hold its fall assembly at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church and School from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturday, October 29, 2016. On Sunday, October 2, St. Luke’s in the Meadow, Fort Worth, held Church in the Park with a service in the Pavilion at Oakland Lake Park in east Fort Worth. Lisa Neilson to be ordained priest in College Station
Bishop Rayford B. High, Jr. will ordain Lisa Neilson to the priesthood at 11 am on Saturday, October 22 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in College Station. The festal color is white.
