Tracie Middleton joins diocesan staff

The Rev. Canon Janet Waggoner, administrative officer of the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth, has announced that the Rev. Tracie Middleton, deacon, has joined the diocesan staff as ministry support and communications officer.  Her work with the diocese will begin on Tuesday, September 16.

Middleton comes to this position with a wide range of experience in administration, relationship-building, and communications.  She is currently an enrollment counselor with Ennova Learning Solutions, providing advice to students and their parents on career and college planning.  Her previous work experience includes ESL instruction, public relations, and news writing/photography.  Middleton also has extensive experience in the church in a variety of ministry roles, and is a deacon serving at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Hurst, TX.  Middleton has served the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth as a member of the Commission on Ministry and as the Chair for Dispatch of Business as the 2013 Diocesan Convention.

Middleton has a Master of Arts Degree in English from Lamar University (2011), and has had training at the Iona School of Ministry in preparation for her ordination to the diaconate.  She moved to Fort Worth area in 2011, and lives in Hurst, Texas.

She will have regular office hours, with some time in the field in the evenings and on weekends, supporting the ministries of our diocese and congregations.  Middleton’s email address is tracie.middleton@edotn.org.
