Fall assembly of the Episcopal Church women to take place this weekend

The Fall Assembly of the Episcopal Church Women of the Diocese of Fort Worth will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday Oct. 24 at St. Christopher Episcopal Church, 3550 Southwest Loop 820, Fort Worth, TX 76133.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a Eucharist at 9:30 a.m. A $20 per person registration fee (which includes lunch) can be paid at the door. The business meeting and election of officers begins at 11 a.m. The officers will be installed immediately after the election. Lunch will be served.

Marcia Himes, national president of the ECW, will speak at 1 p.m. Patsy Duncan, the Province VII representative on the national ECW board, will also be at the Gathering. Information about the ECW can be found at this link: http://ecwnational.org/.

A representative from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America Synod will also be present.

Meredith Killingsworth [St. Alban’s, Arlington] is running for president, Marti Fagley [Parker County Episcopalians] for vice president, Lynne Minor [All Saints Fort Worth] for treasurer, Susann Eller [Trinity Fort Worth] for secretary, and Cynthia Hill [All Saints Fort Worth] for historian.
