Help us plan the 2010 Diocesan Lenten Series

The committee planning the 2010 Diocesan Lenten series is already hard at work. The theme is Benedictine spirituality and practices. But because this series is being organized for all the people of the diocese and especially those in the displaced parishes, the planning committee wants your input on three critical questions:

1. What day of the week works best?
   The first Lenten Series was held at 5 PM on Saturday evenings because it was thought to be the most convenient day for those folks traveling a long way to attend. Although the committee is inclined to continue with early Saturday evenings, we are also open to having it on other days.
2. Should the series be held at one parish or should it move around?
   The first Lenten Series was generously hosted by St. Christopher, who remains willing to do so. But should it be held at different parishes, perhaps alternating between two sites?
3. Can you help?
   Volunteers are welcome! Help will be needed to set up and take down tables and chairs, to help get word out, and help with the many other things necessary to putting on a successful event.
