New administrative assistant joins diocesan staff

Michele L. King has joined the diocesan staff as administrative assistant. Her first day was Monday, March 3.

King comes to the diocesan position from being parish administrator at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in Keller. She has extensive church-related work, having the pastor’s secretary at Christ Lutheran Church in Hebron, Connecticut; executive assistant to the senior pastor at Crown of Life Lutheran Church in Colleyville, Texas; and office manager at Center Point Church in North Richland Hills.

She has an Associate’s Degree from Bauder College and has had additional professional training at Good to Great Training for Churches (2008 ), Church Planting and Growth Seminars (2006-2011), and DFW Communications Seminar (2009, 2010).

Michele and her husband Charlie have been married 27 years. They have 3 children: Dan, Jessica, and Andrew. Dan and Jessica are recent college graduates and Andrew is a high school sophomore.

She will be in the office Monday through Friday. Office hours are 9 am to 4 pm. King can be reached at michele.king@edotn.org.
