Jordan Haynie will be ordained to the transitional diaconate at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2012, St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church, 223 S. Pearson Lane, Keller, Texas, 76248.
She is a native Texan who joined the Diocese of Fort Worth at St. Martin-in-the-Fields in the spring of 2009. A 2007 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, she has spent the past three years studying at Berkeley Divinity School at Yale, and hopes to finish her Master of Divinity degree in May. She is engaged to Derek Ware, a second grade teacher originally from Mississippi, and they plan to be married in June.
