Service Times

Sunday Morning Worship Service
Sunday 9:30am
So what do we do on Sunday Mornings? We hear readings from the Scriptures and the Gospel proclaimed. We lift our voices together in Song and in Prayer. We ask Forgiveness. We share the Peace and Offer gifts from the abundance that God has given. We gather at the table and share the Bread and Wine. We receive God’s Blessing and we are Sent Forth to bear it into the world. Interested in more details? We use The Book of Common Prayer as our guide for worship. We use both Rite I and II and all the Eucharistic prayers—as we travel through the church year together. Nursery care is proved for children ages 5 and under, but children are always welcome to join us for worship and we frequently offer a children’s sermon or other participatory activities. The service bulletin provided for each Sunday will list the hymns and the order of service and the readings from the Holy Bible designated for that Sunday. You can expect the service to last about an hour. Dress is casual. Feel free to come as you are. Folks will be wearing everything from jeans to suits or dresses. After the service we gather in the lobby for fellowship and refreshments. You may also want to stay for Sunday School classes, which last until 11:30.
