Episcopal Church Women chose to support Court Appointed Special Advocates(CASA)

Court Appointed Special Advocates (C.A.S.A.) has been chosen as the mission focus of the Diocesan ECW. C.A.S.A.  needs help in supporting their care of abused and neglected children in the counties located in our diocese. ECW will be collecting clothing and other personal care items as well as cash donations periodically during this next year. And if you are interested in becoming an advocate, ECW’ll lead you in the right direction. Please join in support of this very caring and crucial program.

Their first collection will be at the ECW Tea on October 20, 2012. Monetary donations supporting C.A.S.A. will be accepted. (Checks may be made out to The Episcopal Diocese of Ft. Worth with ECW-C.A.S.A. in the memo line) More information about C.A.S.A. will be available during the tea.

C.A.S.A.’s Mission: Speaking up for abused and neglected children by training court-appointed volunteers to make recommendations for safe, permanent homes where these children can thrive.

C.A.S.A.’s Vision: A clear voice, a safe home and a bright future for every abused and neglected child living in foster care.

C.A.S.A.’s Promise: To raise a voice against the unspeakable.
