Episcopal Church Foundation’s webinar offerings in February deal with stewardship practices and preparing a congregation for a clergy transition. Take advantage of these free/low-cost, high-impact webinars:

  • Two Part Fresh Start Series on Leading Through a Clergy Transition, Part 1 Reacting to Change (Feb. 19, 6-7pm CT) (Part 2, Feb. 25 – see below) – This two-part series is aimed at vestry members and other congregational leaders who are currently or will soon be leading their congregation through a clergy transition. To lead effectively, the first thing you need to understand is how you yourself react to change. Assess your change response style and learn how that style helps and challenges you as a leader.   • Flourish in Faith:  Planting the Seeds of Your Annual Giving Campaign (Feb. 20, 6-7pm CT) – Learn leadership and communication practices that till the soil for an effective annual giving campaign and nurtures a spirituality of stewardship and discipleship in your congregation.   • Two Part Fresh Start Series on Leading Through a Clergy Transition, Part 2 Change and Transition (Feb. 25, 6-7pm CT) (Part 1 Feb. 19 – see above) – Understanding the difference between change and transition, and then being able to lead your congregation through both are skills needed to transition successfully to new clergy leadership. Learn some key steps to keep in mind and how your congregation’s past history might influence its responses to the current change.
