The Rt. Rev. Rayford B. High, Jr., visited St. Christopher Episcopal Church, Fort Worth, on Sunday, April 19. He received Marsha Malinsky into The Episcopal Church and confirmed Bill Slater and Elizabeth Doane, parishioners at Trinity Episcopal Church, Fort Worth. Slater and Doane were accompanied by the Rev. Andrew Wright, Associate Rector for Children, Families & Young Adults at Trinity. Ms. Malinsky had to leave before formal photos were taken.
The Rev. Bill Stanford, rector, also commissioned Ian Wingate, age 9 1/2, as a lay reader. Ian’s twin sister, Isabella, served as acolyte.
There was a reception afterwards in the Parish Hall.
