Announcing registration dates and fees for the 2013 Diocesan Convention – UPDATED 9/9
The 2013 Diocesan Convention will be held November 8-9, 2013 in Wichita Falls at the Multi-Purpose Events Center (MPEC), 1000 5th Street, Wichita Falls, TX, 76301. Wichita Falls is a two-hour drive northwest of Fort Worth.
At its May 18, 2013 meeting, the executive council adopted a resolution that set October 4, 2013 as the deadline for registration of lay and clerical delegates, alternates, and visitors. After that date, late charges will be incurred. The resolution also stated that “timely registration and payment of Convention registration fees is an obligation of each congregation to be represented at the Annual Convention. Registrants who wish to pay their own registration fees are encouraged to reimburse their congregations by separate donations.“
Registration on or before October 4, 2013, is $30.00 for one day and $50 for both days. Registration after October 4 is $35.00 for one day and $60 for both days.
Delegates and alternates and clergy representing a congregation will be registered by that congregation. Visitors and non-parochial clergy will register online, and exhibitors will register online. Exhibitors for non-profits will be charged $40.00 per table; for-profit organizations will be charged $60.00 per table. The deadline for exhibitor registration is October 4.
